SCHOOL COUNCIL 2018 / 2019

The school Council has 1 girl and 1 boy councillor for each class in KS2 who were elected by their class. They meet each fortnight to discuss ideas that the children put forward. They then decide which of these to take forward and action in school.

The first task that the School Council led was to name our four team houses.  The School Council led our pupils on deciding the names.  Whilst underpinning all of our values, the children wanted to ensure that the house names were inspirational and demonstrated what the house points awarded for.  After much discussion and debate, the children decided upon Malala (Yellow), Farah (Red), Watson (Blue) and Hawking (Green).
