Each reading comprehension has 3 star levels.
Confident readers should challenge themselves to achieve the 3 star comprehension, those less confident can have a go at 2 star or 1 star - you can chose your level. After each comprehension there are a set of questions to answer which are designed to test your understanding of what you have read (with the answers so you can check your work).
Please do not print the reading comprehensions if you are able to read them on the screen :)

Your Science learning for this week is on Flipgrid. Flipgrid is an online video sharing platform which allows us to create online classrooms. Pupil use of this website is moderated, which means that we will check all videos before uploading them. If your child does not want to video themselves, they are very welcome to just post a video of their work or activity. Flipgrid can be used at any time and on any internet-enabled device. SPELLING AT HOME
Spelling practise at home can often be challenging. Why not try using a multi-sensory approach! Try making the spellings using play dough, using coloured pens, using toys to make the shape of the letters or even during baking with flour! Rap, sing or link spellings to stories and shapes.

READING AT HOME
Our whole expectation is that children will read at home at least 3 times per week, this can be to an adult or independently. Below are some ideas to help support you at home with reading and questioning your child.
