Our Pre-School uses a key person system whereby a staff member is responsible for your child and their developmental progress. You will be introduced to your key person when your child starts with us. Your key person is there to support your child as an individual during their time at Pre-school as well as to provide care and emotional support.

You will meet with your family’s key person regularly during which time you will get the opportunity to discuss your child’s progress. Your key person will be responsible for completing the statutory Two Year Old Progress check, termly reports and Transition document.

Our Pre-school has a transition policy that encourages the sharing of information with other childcare settings, feeder primary schools and relevant agencies which is helpful to your child’s development. This will always be discussed with you and your views and permission sought.
