KS1 SATs update
You may have heard in the news that schools are longer required to undertake the KS1 SATs. This year, in Year 2, we have been practising past KS1 SATs papers and used these as part of our teacher assessments each term. At the end of this summer term, the children will have a go at these assessments and, as we have done with previous terms, use this to guide our teacher assessments.
This week's information
Young Writers Competition
Year 2 children across the country have been invited to enter a poetry writing competition. The children have been asked to write an acrostic poem about a monster. If you are interested, please ask your teacher for an entry form.
