This week, we welcomed Patrick Farrelly and Serena Smart, from Braunton and Caen Rotary,
into Year 4. They were blown away by the presentations given by children who were keen
to join the Southmead Rotakids. Well done to the successful children who have been
selected. Next week, they decide on their President, Vice Chair, Treasurer and Secretary.

The aim of the club is to create their own Rotary Club to support whole school and
community initiatives. Watch this space..

You may have seen our 'Wave of Hope' display outside J&S Wensley's Newsagents last weekend. Our children, alongside Georgeham Primary School, designed an array of hands displaying hopes and wishes for the future of the world that we live in. The Explorer Dome came to visit Year 4 and 5 this week. The children were so excited to apply their learning and understanding in context. It was an amazing day and the children couldn't stop talking about it. It was also lovely to hear our Year 6s reminiscing about their visit! Thank you to Dr. Corney and our Year 4 and 5 Teams for the work they put into providing this amazing experience.
