Friday 22 May 2026 U11s Football Finals - County Finals - Devon Champions Our U11s Girls' Football Team achieved an amazing outcome this week - WINNING the County Finals. Southmead are the Devon Champions! They only conceded one goal on the way to the final and held their nerve in the final which went to penalties! AMAZING!

Friday 22 May 2026 Year 5 Girls' Cricket Our Year 5 Girls' Cricket Team did amazingly well this week - coming second in their recent competition to secure a place in the County Cricket Finals on the 1st July 2026! Well done to the team - they were amazing! I think it may have been a little windy too!

Wednesday 11 March 2026 Year 2 Music On Wednesday, Year 2 went to take part in the Infant Music Festival held at the Academy. All schools in the Trust came together to celebrate music and singing with a theme of Space this year. Our children were fantastic - both with behaviour and with their amazing singing.

Friday 13 February 2026 Frame Running Club We have been working with Penguin Sports to provide Adaptive Athletics to our children. They have asked if any children would like to join their Frame Running Club which meets every Thursday evening at 5.00 p.m. at Braunton Athletics Track. It costs the family £6 per session and we usually invoice retrospectively at the end of each term for the number of sessions attended (so it is very flexible).
