(for pupils in Years 3 and above.  Years 0 - 2 are entitled to Universal Infant Free School Meals).

Our school dinner menus are regularly checked for compliance against the rigorous School Food Plan guidance (http://www.schoolfoodplan.com/).  This is the criteria that schools must meet.  For example, at least two of our puddings each week contain 50% fruit and all food is cooked from fresh - no jars allowed.  Whilst we understand that children may prefer their 'favourites' more often, we are not able to offer this due to the rules.  We endeavour to serve children the food that they like and enjoy as regularly as we can whilst meeting our Healthy Schools agreement. Since September, our new chef has ensured that portion sizes are graduated for younger to older children.
