School Cleaner

to start June 24

 

15 hours per week (3 hours per day)

To be worked before school starts or at the end of the school day Monday - Friday term time only.

Plus 15 hours to be worked in school holidays.

 

Grade A £7,692 per annum (£11.59 per hour) Full Time Equivalent £ 22,366 pay award pending

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working and dedicated individual to join our school Premises Team to undertake the cleaning of designated areas within the school, ensuring that the school is clean and ready for the new day.

 

The role will include general cleaning of classrooms, toilets, offices and other areas, wiping tables, mopping floors and emptying litter bins.

 

The ideal candidate should be able to work on their own initiative as well as part of the Premises Team.

Teaching Assistant - cover

£20,812 - £21,189 FTE (£10.79 - £10.98 per hour)

 

We are looking for people on an ad hoc basis to cover for staff absences. You would get paid for the hours you work and wouldn’t be committed to everyday – just as and when you are needed and are available. You will need to have a current DBS check which we can arrange if you are interested.

 

Ideally we are looking for someone with the following qualities:

  • A Teaching and Learning Assistant Level 2 qualification or equivalent
  • Experience of working with children and/or children with additional needs
  • Experience of delivering 1:1 and/or small group interventions
  • Experience of setting clear and consistent boundaries
  • A positive and encouraging attitude
  • Kindness and patience
  • A willingness to learn
  • An ability to work within a team
  • GCSE Grade C or above, or equivalent, in English and Maths

 

This role requires the ability to fulfill all spoken aspects of the role with confidence and fluency in English.

Meal Time Assistant – Cover

We are looking for people who have an hour or so to spare between either 11.50am – 1.05pm or 12.15pm – 1.30pm on an ad hoc basis to cover lunchtimes on the KS1 and KS2 playgrounds. You would get paid for the hours you work and wouldn’t be committed to everyday – as and when you are needed and are available. You will need to have a current DBS check which we can arrange if you are interested.
