This week, we welcomed back Issi Hebbard.  She came to share an assembly to inspire all of our children, following her journey from Southmead Primary School's Football Team to Braunton Academy's Football Team, to Braunton Football Club and then to U17 England Captain and signing for Bristol City.  Our children and teachers were impressed by her attitude and how she had overcome many challenges to achieve her goal of playing for England.  Following the assembly, she provided training sessions for our Girls' Football Team and our Year 2 and Year 3 Mixed Football Teams.  A great afternoon.  Thank you to Mr Short and Mrs Baker for organising and Issi for remembering her roots.  She was always an incredibly humble student.
