Here at Southmead, we have recently selected Eco-representatives from Year 1 upwards to help their classes focus on environmental issues and to learn about ways that we can all be as eco-friendly as possible. This week, these pupils took a trip to Chivenor where they learnt about the benefits of trees, record-breaking trees and most importantly, how to plant a sapling! Our three teams, using excellent teamwork, planted 4 trees each towards Chivenor’s pledge of 1000.
