This half term, we have had assemblies about the benefits of planting trees, and have planted fruit trees and hedges all over the school site. As a result of this and the many other things that have gone on, we have been awarded the Silver Green Tree award! We are also well on track to achieve our Gold award, with Year 2 having already studied the old oak tree at the front of school and dressed it in their celebration bunting for their lovely Jubilee ‘tree party’.
