Yesterday, our Year 5 football and netball teams and the Year 4 football team took part in the Police Football and Netball Tournament at Kingsacre. Well done to all the pupils, who showed incredible teamwork and perseverance throughout, and especially to the netball team who made it through to the semi-finals. On Thursday, Year 6 went on a trip to the Eden Project where they furthered their classwork on the environment and learnt about all the things the Eden Project are doing to try to tackle climate change. They had a brilliant day and behaved impeccably. Well done, Year 6!

We are very proud of one of our Year 2 students, Bella-Blue, who spent four hours last Saturday helping local businessman Richard Easterbrook pack up and organise a lorryful of donations which were headed for Ukrainian refugees. Her mum has described how she showed great empathy and
compassion for the refugees, helped out with huge enthusiasm; and even in a dark, cold barn, just wanted to stay and carry on packing. Well done to you, B-B. What a great example you’ve shown to us all!
